Tell Me The Time is a Thoroughbred mare, foaled in 1983, who was purchased by The Exceller Fund at Barrett's in southern California in January for a few hundred dollars. In foal to Saros, Telly gave birth to a beautiful colt on April 3, 1999.

Telly is by Mr. Cockatoo out of the the Bold Hour mare Hour Ruth. She is a great-granddaughter of the great Count Fleet as well as Bold Ruler.

She is approximately 16.2 hands and has a massive build. She is a very particular mare and prefers her days to be without surprises in the schedule. Telly is sound and but old age is setting in so she is only suitable to be a pasture pal. Her age may keep her from getting adopted into a good home.

UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 2006 - Tell Me The Time was euthanized after severe colic that resulted from internal tumors blocking her intestines. The tumors were inoperable, so "Telly" was eased over the Rainbow Bridge. We are glad she was able to enjoy the last 7 years of her retirement.
