Fortune N' Fame came to The Exceller Fund through CANTER and was adopted in 2005.  Unfortunately in 2010 he was returned to The Exceller Fund due to economic hardship.

Fortune N' Fame (aka GQ because he's just so handsome) has adjusted well to his new surroundings in Bagdad, Kentucky and has fallen madly in love with a Percheron mare named Laurie.  GQ is the definition of a "hard keeper".  At 17.2 hands he requires a lot of groceries and extra goodies to maintain good weight.  Unfortunately GQ also has some vision problems from an old eye injury and more recent infections which make him unsafe to ride.  For these reasons GQ has been permanently retired and is available for adoption only as a companion.  He has a very loving personality and is always happy to see you, especially if you come bearing treats.  He does not like being by himself and needs the companionship of another horse.
