Eleanor's Gift came from a trainer at Mountaineer in September 2007 who wanted to make sure his horse would have a good home.  He had multiple abscesses and we later found that he had laminitis in his right front.  "EG" moved between a few different fosters before finding one that had a farrier to work on corrective trimming for his hoof.  He has been doing well with his current foster in West Virginia and seems to be responding well to his corrective farrier work.  He should be sound for most flat disciplines but will most likely require special farrier work.
