Cumberland Gap had a long racing career including a win in the Panhandle Handicap in 1997 and the 1997 West Virginia Legislature Cup at Mountaineer Park. "The Gapper" retired from racing in 2006 at the age of 14 to CANTER with hope that one of his past connections would be willing to step up and offer him permanent retirement. However, that was not the case and so The Exceller Fund was happy to offer this warrior lifetime care.
Gappy has a strong personality and is a very nice guy. He is protective over his buddy Beaudazzler who shares in Gappy's good life of retirement at Circle E Ranch in Oklahoma. Will you help sponsor this "Racing Warrior's" life of retirement?
Your support for our Racing Warrior horses like Cumberland Gap is
greatly appreciated. Donations are being taken specifically for these
horses through the War Chest which is accessible on the Racing Warriors Campaign Page.
